Services
TMG provides field and shop inspection across the structural steel, welding, and nondestructive testing disciplines that govern most commercial, institutional, and infrastructure construction — delivered as code-anchored reports under the SCWI / ICC MSI / ASNT Level III credential line, serving Florida and the Southeast.
TMG's role on a project is observation and reporting. Authority to accept or reject work rests with the owner or the owner's designated representative. TMG does not direct contractor means, methods, or sequencing.
Structural Steel Inspection
Special inspection of structural steel, welding, and bolted connections under the International Building Code (IBC), Chapter 17, and the project's Statement of Special Inspections (SSI). Scope covers shop and field inspection of high-strength bolting, weld quality, members and connections at moment-resisting frames, field splices, and embedded plates — per IBC Table 1705.2 and the structural drawings. Reports anchor each finding to a specific code clause with photo evidence and drawing references.
Welding Consulting
Visual welding inspection across AWS D1.1 — Structural Welding Code – Steel, AWS D1.5, AWS D1.6, and AWS D1.8, plus WPS / PQR development, welder qualification, fabrication-shop quality control plans, AISC certification support, and demand-critical / seismic supplemental inspection. SCWI-level review on every welding engagement.

Nondestructive Testing (NDT)
Ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT), liquid penetrant (PT), and visual (VT) testing under ASNT SNT-TC-1A — Personnel Qualification and Certification in Nondestructive Testing, with ASNT Level III oversight on UT and MT. Written-practice development and program audits available.

UAV Services
FAA Part 107 drone inspection for elevated and confined-access work — bridge superstructures, tank shells, roof structures, and sign structures — with thermal imaging and photogrammetry for construction-progress documentation.

Tanks, pressure equipment, and specialty inspection
Aboveground storage tank inspection per API 653 — Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and Reconstruction and new-tank work per API 650; pressure-equipment welding per ASME BPVC and B31; high-strength bolt pre-installation verification per the RCSC Specification; and amusement-ride structural and weld inspection. Retained on a project-by-project basis.
Sectors served
- Bridges (including fracture-critical members and bascule bridges)
- Buildings
- Sign structures
- Aboveground storage tanks and pressure vessels
- Amusement rides
- Industrial and other critical infrastructure
Engagement model
TMG structures fees to fit the work. ASNT Level III services — written-practice development, NDT procedure development, and program oversight — are available on a retainer or ongoing-program basis. Project inspection and NDT work is priced by day rate, per-visit call-out fee, or Time-and-Materials, tied to the contractor's schedule and field conditions. Fixed-fee scopes are available for bounded deliverables: single-day inspections, finite NDT campaigns, and WPS / PQR review packages. To request a proposal, see the contact page.
