Certifications

TMG holds documented professional credentials across welding inspection, structural special inspection, nondestructive testing, tank inspection, bolted-connection verification, and UAV operation. Certificates and supporting documentation are available on request.

AWS — Welding inspection

Issued by the American Welding Society (AWS) under AWS QC1 — Standard for AWS Certification of Welding Inspectors.

• Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI) — Certificate No. 11120018, valid through December 1, 2026. The senior-tier welding-inspector credential, above CWI.
• Certified Structural Steel Inspector Endorsement (Drawings & Bolting).
• Welder Performance Qualifier endorsement — for administering welder qualification (WPQ) testing.

ICC — Master of Special Inspection (MSI)

Issued by the International Code Council (ICC). Master of Special Inspection awarded November 27, 2012, under Certificate No. 8169070 — a master-level credential combining the individual ICC special-inspector categories below, issued under the same certificate number.

ASNT Level III

Issued by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) under ASNT SNT-TC-1A. Certificate No. 202014. Level III qualifies the holder to develop written NDT procedures, qualify Level I and Level II personnel, and serve as the responsible NDT authority on a project.

• UT — ultrasonic testing, Level III
• MT — magnetic particle testing, Level III
• PT — liquid penetrant testing, Level II

Skidmore-Wilhelm Certified Expert — Pre-Installation Verification

Issued September 3, 2021. Current to the 2020 edition of the RCSC Specification for Structural Joints Using High-Strength Bolts. Covers pre-installation verification of high-strength structural bolts using the Skidmore-Wilhelm bolt-tension calibrator.

API 653 — Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector

Issued by the American Petroleum Institute (API) under API Standard 653 — Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration, and Reconstruction. Certificate No. 101748.

ACI

American Concrete Institute (ACI) — Post-Installed Concrete Anchor Installation Inspector.

FAA Part 107 — Remote Pilot Certificate

Issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under 14 CFR Part 107. Certificate No. 5098383, issued December 17, 2024. Authorizes commercial operation of small unmanned aircraft systems. See UAV Services.

FDOT / FHWA

• FDOT CTQP — Quality Control Manager — Certificate No. 2005253, issued September 12, 2020. Used on projects under the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
• FHWA-NHI-130087 — Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures.

Insurance

TMG carries professional liability (errors and omissions) and general liability insurance appropriate to the firm's scope of services. Certificates of insurance — including carrier, policy numbers, limits, and additional-insured endorsements where required by the contract — are issued on request to the contracting party at the point of engagement.
